Commodore Floors is a family-owned and operated company based in Chester, South Carolina specializing in a variety of flooring options, such as hardwoods, concrete overlays, and luxury vinyl.

Harold J. Commodore
“....But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
In the early 80s, Harold J. Commodore became inspired by hardwood flooring after he installed new floors in his home.
During the late 80’s, Harold J. Commodore founded Commodore Hardwood Floors in Chester, South Carolina. He worked alongside his best friend and brother-in-law Robert “Bobby” Boyd.
After 30 years in business, Harold retired from Commodore Hardwood Floors.
Years later, Harold’s youngest son, Travis S. Commodore left his political career to move back to South Carolina.
During that time Travis began toying with the idea of resurrecting the family business after a talk with one of his former political mentors mentioned that Harold’s life work was a “legacy project.”
In 2017, Travis established Commodore Floors after installing his first flooring project. Four years later, Anthony Commodore retired from pastoring to join his younger brother in rekindling their father’s legacy.
